Terms of Service
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of PickPCParts.in, laptops.pickpcparts.in, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What we provide
PickPCParts is an independent PC hardware information and planning platform focused on the Indian market. The Service includes, among other things:
- a searchable component database with detailed specifications and filters;
- a PC Builder with compatibility checking and shareable build links;
- product comparison, price tables, price history, and deals listings;
- build guides, completed build submissions, and community discussions;
- retailer listings, reviews, and optional partner price inquiries;
- user accounts with saved builds, favorites, notifications, and a personal dashboard.
The laptop section provides laptop browsing, comparison, deals, and guides. It does not include a full laptop configurator equivalent to the desktop PC Builder.
3. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old to register.
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
- One person should maintain only one personal account unless we approve otherwise.
- Email verification is required before full account access.
- You may register with email and password or, where available, Google sign-in subject to the additional consents shown at signup.
Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- violate any applicable law or regulation;
- post unlawful, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or misleading content;
- spam, scrape, or attempt to overload or disrupt the Service;
- bypass security controls, rate limits, or access restrictions;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation;
- upload malware or content you do not have the right to share;
- use the Service for undisclosed commercial promotion or affiliate spam;
- infringe intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
Reasonable personal use of the PC Builder, archives, and community features is permitted. Automated bulk extraction of site data is not permitted unless we give written consent.
5. User-generated content
You retain ownership of original content you submit, including completed builds, comments, reviews, photos, and forum posts. By submitting content, you grant PickPCParts a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, adapt for formatting, and distribute that content on the Service for as long as it remains published.
You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of content you submit. Community features are governed by our Community Guidelines.
We may review, moderate, edit for formatting, reject, or remove content that violates these Terms or our guidelines. Completed build submissions may require admin approval before publication.
6. Retailer reviews and partner inquiries
Retailer reviews must be based on genuine experience. Where we require proof of purchase, you must upload a valid bill image. False, duplicate, or manipulated reviews may be removed and may result in account action.
When you submit a partner price inquiry, you authorise us to share the details you provide—and your build snapshot—with participating partner retailers so they can contact you about pricing.
7. Affiliate links and advertising
Some product and retailer links are affiliate links. We may earn commission on qualifying purchases at no additional cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not determine our compatibility logic, but they may influence which purchase links are shown.
We may display sponsored advertisements. Sponsored content will be identified as such where applicable.
8. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge that policy.
9. Service availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service available and useful, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may change, be added, or be removed. Maintenance, updates, third-party outages, or factors outside our control may cause temporary downtime.
Prices, stock status, specifications, and deals may change frequently and are provided for reference only. See our Disclaimer for important limitations.
10. Third-party services and links
The Service relies on third-party providers for hosting, security, image delivery, authentication, analytics, and retailer data. We are not responsible for third-party websites, retailer checkout flows, or services we do not control.
11. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from your user dashboard. Deletion removes personal account data as described in our Privacy Policy. Public community content may remain in anonymised form.
We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, create risk for other users, or where required by law. We may also remove content or restrict features during investigations.
12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Our compatibility tools, pricing data, and community content are informational. You are responsible for verifying information before buying or building. Our total liability to you for claims arising from use of the free Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, which will typically be zero.

13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Pune, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be indicated by updating the date above and, where appropriate, by notice on the site. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
