About PickPCParts
What PickPCParts is
PickPCParts is an independent PC hardware platform built for the Indian market. The site helps you research components, plan compatible builds, compare prices across retailers, and learn from community submissions all in one place.
The project is developed and maintained a solo developer, community-focused product. It is not backed by a large corporation or retailer chain, which is why honest feedback and support from users matter directly to how fast we can improve.
What you can do here
- Browse detailed component pages for processors, motherboards, graphics cards, memory, storage, power supplies, cases, coolers, monitors, peripherals, and more.
- Plan builds with the PC Builder, including compatibility checks, wattage estimates, shareable build links, and saved builds for registered users.
- Compare products side by side and filter archives by the specs that actually matter for your use case.
- Check prices and deals from multiple Indian retailers, with outbound links to buy directly from sellers.
- Read build guides and completed builds contributed by the community and editorial team.
- Join discussions in forums, leave comments, review retailers, and favourite parts for later.
Laptops section
At laptops.pickpcparts.in, we cover laptop browsing, comparison, deals, and buying guides. It shares your account with the main site but does not currently offer a full laptop configurator like the desktop PC Builder.
How we keep the lights on
PickPCParts is free to use. Running the database, compatibility engine, image hosting, and price tooling has real operating costs. We fund development primarily through affiliate commissions when you purchase through qualifying retailer links, and through optional on-site advertising.
Using our affiliate links does not increase your price. It does help cover hosting, data updates, and new features.
What we are working toward
We are actively improving price freshness across more sellers, expanding compatibility coverage, growing community features, and refining the laptop section. Feature requests and bug reports from real builders shape the roadmap more than anything else.
How you can help
- use affiliate buy links when you shop through pages you found useful;
- share accurate completed builds and honest retailer reviews;
- report specification errors through the forum correction channels;
- tell other builders about the site if it saved you research time.
